  • Prof. Dr. Nurheni Wijayanto

    Prof. Dr. Nurheni Wijayanto was born in Kebumen, Indonesia at October 24, 1960. Graduated from Institut Pertanian Bogor (Bogor Agricultural University), Bogor, Indonesia for undergraduate, master and Ph.D.'s degree, taught at the same university for the last 32 years and was earned professorship in the field of Agroforestry Sciences (2011). He wrote many books and scientific manuscripts. Agroforestry: The Future of Production Forestry Utilization, a main report from Forest Digest (Nov 2016-Jan 2017) was authored by him. He also wrote more than 50 manuscripts in scientific journals and conferences, and supervised more than 200 student’s manuscripts. He collaborated with many foreign researchers, such as from Japan and France. He was head of the Department of Silviculture IPB (2011-2015), and was involved as an expert and appraiser in various activities both in the university or the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, RI. He awarded Satya Lencana Karya Satya 10, 20 and 30 years. He is a member of several professional associations, such as the Society for Biodiversity Indonesia (board), Indonesian Silviculture Society (founder, vice-chairman), Indonesian Agroforestry Society (founder, board), Indonesia Network for Agroforestry Education (founder, board). He reviewed for Tekno Hutan Tanaman, Jurnal Teknologi Agroforestri, Jurnal Hutan dan Konservasi Alam, Jurnal Teknologi Industri Pertanian; and editor of Jurnal Silvikultur Tropika.

  • Prof. Dr. Enny Sudarmonowati

    Prof. Dr. Enny Sudarmonowati was born at September 12, 1962. Graduated from the Institut Pertanian Bogor (Bogor Agricultural University), Bogor, Indonesia (1985), and obtained a Ph.D. degree from the School of Biological Sciences of University of Bath, UK (1991). She was joined the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) in 1986, and got a research professorship in plant biotechnology. Her research interest was related to the genetic conservation and improvement of plants, involving various techniques such as cryopresevation, genetic engineering, molecular markers and irradiation. She has been research coordinators of various collaborative programmes concerning plant biotechnology and relevant aspects with various institutions including private sectors in Indonesia and in other countries, such as IPGRI-APO (Malaysia), IAEA/FAO (Austria), ETH Zurich (Austria), Wageningen University and Radboud University (Netherlands), AVEBE (Netherlands), as well as PERHUTANI, INHUTANI, and Sinar Mas Forestry. Projects involved funded by KNAW, WOTRO, BIOTRAIN, BIORIN, Indosol and Agriculture Beyond Food (AbF). She has authored more than 170 manuscripts and patents; and promotored or co-promotored of various universities in Indonesia and abroad. Currently, beside as Head of Laboratory of Plant Molecular Genetic and Biosynthetis Pathway Modification of Research Centre for Biotechnology – LIPI, she is a Director of National Training and Education Centre for Researcher Development – LIPI and Indonesian Coordinator of Agriculture Beyond Food Programme of Indonesia-Netherlands collaboration, as well as Secretary General of Indonesian Researcher Union (IRU). She has received numerous awards, including 100 Best Woman Researchers from the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, GoI.

  • Dr. Mohammed Ali Berawi

    Dr. Mohammed Ali Berawi was born at June 15, 1976. Completed his doctoral education in the field of Value Engineering and Innovation at the Oxford Brookes University, UK. Prior to joining the Faculty of Engineering, University of Indonesia ( 2008), he worked as a lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, School of Technology, Oxford Brookes University, UK and a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Built Environment, University of Malaya, who also serves as Director of Value Management Centre, University of Malaya. He also served as Lead Advisor for the Ministry of Transportation, Republic of Indonesia (2012). Several scientific publications in the form of text books (e.g, Achieving Excellence through Project Management, Value Engineering Applications At the Construction Industry) and dozens of scientific articles have been published in various journals and proceedings; including 34 documents in Scopus (h-index 5). He achieved several awards including the Prize Winner at the Research Student Conference FBE, Oxford Brookes University, UK (2004, 2005); Trophy Award, The Favourite Subject, Quantity Surveying Night, University of Malaya (2008); Finalists of the UK Alumni Award (2008); Lecturer Researcher Achievement of the Universitas Indonesia (2009), Best Young Lecturer Researcher of the Universitas Indonesia (2009), Best Paper Award at the International Conference on Value Engineering Management (ICVEM), Hong Kong (2012), Best Presenter (2013 ) and Best Poster (2014) at the National Competitive Research Seminar, DGHE RI and Finalist of the Toray Science and Technology Award (2014). Currently, he served as Director of the Directorate of Research and Community Development (DRPM), Universitas Indonesia; Executive Director of the Center for Sustainable Infrastructure Development (CSID), Universitas Indonesia; Editor-in-Chief of Value World, Journal of the Society of American Value Engineers; Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Technology (Scopus & ESCI Web of Science indexed), and a member of the editorial board at various other international journals.

  • Dr. Tribidasari A. Ivandini

    Dr. Tribidasari A. Ivandini was born in Jakarta on January 29, 1970. She is a member of the teaching and research staff at Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Mathematics and Science, Universitas Indonesia, since 1997. She received her bachelor and magister degrees in 1993 and 1996, respectively, from Universitas Indonesia. In 2003 she accomplished her doctoral degree at The University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan. Between 2003 and 2007 she performed post-doctoral research at the Department of Chemistry, Keio University, Tokyo, Japan with JSPS fellowship during 2004-2006. Up to the present time she is still performing research collaboration with Keio University. Her research interests are mostly concerning electrochemistry of diamond, including its development for sensors and biosensors, electrocatalytics, and waste-water treatment. She has published circa 50 scientific papers in highly respectable journals and conference proceedings, such as Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics, Sensors Actuators B: Chemicals, and Diamond Related Materials, including 43 documens in Scopus (h-index 17). She also holds some patents under European and Japan Patents. In 2012, she received an award from Universitas Indonesia as the most productive researcher in Universitas Indonesia. She is the Editor-in-Chief of Makara Journal of Science an Indonesian prestigious science journal that nationally accredited and indexed by ESCI Web of Science).
