Aims and Scope International Journal of Tropical Drylands (Intl J Trop Drylands) (formerly Tropical Drylands) encourages submission of manuscripts dealing with physical, biological and cultural aspects of dryland ecology, especially from tropical area, include human ecology on drylands, climate change, diversity and conservation, environmental management, land use, habitat degradation and rehabilitation, geomorphological and hydrological processes, as well as soil chemistry, biology, physics, and other edaphic aspects.
Article types The journal seeks original full-length research papers, reviews, and short communication. Manuscript of original research should be written in no more than 8,000 words (including tables and picture), or proportional with articles in this publication number. Review articles will be accommodated, while, short communication should be written at least 2,000 words (excl. references), except for pre-study.
Indexing The journal has been indexed/registered in Crossref, Google Scholar.
Open access The journal is committed to free-open access. The license type is CC-BY-NC-SA 4.0.
Free of charge This publication is dedicated entirely to the advancement of science and technology, therefore author(s) or author institution(s) are not subject to publication fees. For every single manuscript published in this journal, the corresponding author (first corresponding author) has the right to publish one manuscript in Biodiversitas or Nusantara Bioscience journals for free. This waiver is eligible for new submission (to those two journals) within 24 months after the date of manuscript acceptance in this journal.
