Sulawesi is one of the islands located in the Wallace region which is a transition and a meeting area between two centers of biota distribution namely Asia and Australia. Orchid is one of the natural potency that has high commercial value. The existence of orchids in nature is threatened due to habitat destruction and excessive exploitation. Cani Sirenreng Nature Park, Bone District, South Sulawesi is one of the conservation areas that endangered because of human activity. This study was conducted to determine the diversity and distribution of orchids in the Cani Sirenreng Nature Park. The collecting data were carried out by exploration method. The result showed that 72 numbers orchid collection, 21 genera, 28 species (18 species are epiphytic and 10 species are terrestrial) were found in Cani Sirenreng Natural Park. The highest species abundance was Dendrobium crumenatum (22.99%). The average species distribution was Pteroceras fraternatum, Aerides sp. and Spathoglottis plicata. The value of diversity index (H') indicated that the orchid diversity in the Cani Sirenreng Natural Park included in the medium category with a H' value was 2.85.
