Pesticides are chemical compounds or other materials (bacteria/fungus/virus) that are used to control pest populations and the development of plant diseases. Farmers like to use synthetic pesticide more than the other type of pesticide. Synthetic pesticides give rapid effect in controlling pests and diseases, but have a negative impact on environment and ecosystem if used continuously. So, we need an alternative solution to control pests and diseases. One of the solutions is by using botanical pesticide. The botanical pesticide has bioactive from phytochemical. Bogor Botanic Gardens (KRB) as the Center for Plant Conservation has a large collection of plants that have potency as botanical pesticide. The purpose of this study was to inventory of KRB collection that had potency as botanical pesticide so can be used as a source of information in future research. The method of inventory was by literature study. Literature of plant that can be used to pesticide material was matched with a KRB catalog collection to obtain a list of potential plant collections KRB as a botanical pesticide. The result showed that there were 50 family and 127 species that have a potency to be the material of botanical pesticides. And there were 32 family and 69 species native to Indonesia. From all of the family, there was five families that have considerable number of species and in general, has often been used as a botanical pesticide material, that was Leguminosae, Meliaceae, Annonaceae, Rutaceae, and Piperaceae.
