Dendrocalamus spp. is one species of bamboo into a plant collection of Bogor Botanic Garden. This plant is classified as Poaceae Family. In general, Dendrocalamus spp. have a green stem color and a rather tight clump. Almost all bamboo species of the genus Dendrocalamus is a giant bamboo. The method used was the inventory of the genus Dendrocalamus bamboo collection, and to determine the utilization carried out literature studies. Plants collection of the genus Dendrocalamus in Bogor Botanical Garden consists of Dendrocalamus asper (Schulth. F.) Backer ex Heyne, Dendrocalamus strictus (Roxb.) Nees, Dendrocalamus branddsii Kurz, Dendrocalamus giganteus Munro, Dendrocalamus latiflorus Munro, and Dendrocalamus sp. These plant can be used as food, crafts, and construction.
