The purpose of this study was to observe population condition, cultivating seeds at Banua Botanical Gardens. Banjar Baru, South Kalimantan and determine conservation issues. The method used is an exploratory method with 20x20 m transect and population distance of 100 m to 500 m. Conditions plajau tree populations in forest areas of Inhutani II, Megasari Village, District of Pulau Laut Utara, Kota Baru district, there are four populations and every population there is three plajau parent tree. The number of seedlings in each population of 10 to 202 seedlings. Problems in the cultivation, the seeds have a low germination (23,8%), compound inflorescences have unisexual although there are bisexual. Collection only at the Garden has never flowering at all, probably due to the different climates of native trees in Borneo. For the conditions of temperature and humidity are also analyzed in this paper.
