The relationship between bird diversity and tree species composition on Kentingan campus Sebelas Maret University Surakarta, Central Java. Pros Sem Nas Masy Biodiv Indon 1: 660-666. Sebelas Maret University ( UNS ) has been established as a model for a green campus in Indonesia. To support the program, we need biodiversity study as one of the benchmarks of environmental conditions. The aims of this study were to determine the relationship between bird diversity tree species composition and diversity on Kentingan campus UNS Surakarta as one of the parameters of successful development of a green campus. This is a descriptive-exploratory study using census method in eight zones. From the observation, we identified at least 50 species of birds and 96 species of trees. The number of bird species is proportional to the number of tree species. This study suggests that the tree diversity may have supported the bird diversity in the selected area
