Abstract
Handayani NI. 2015. Identification of fungi in the activated sludge unit for the treatment of liquid waste in the textile processing industry. Pros Sem Nas Masy Biodiv Indon 1: 993-997. Research on the identification of fungi in activated sludge unit for the treatment of liquid waste derived from textile industry is one of the early stages in the manufacture of a microbial consortium to improve the performance of the activated sludge treatment system. Sampling was conducted on activated sludge collected from three types of the textile processing industry, such as integrated process, non-printing integrated process with black sulfur-colored and finishing process. Based on the morphological microscopic view, it can be reported that fungi found in activated sludge integrated process textile industry were Aspergillus niger, Aspergillus oryzae, Aspergillus sp., Penicillium sp., non-printing integrated process with sulfur black colored were Aspergillus flavus, Aspergillus nidulans, Aspergillus niger, Aspergillus sp., Mucor sp., Trichoderma sp., and finishing process were Aspergillus niger, Aspergillus oryzae, Gliocaldium sp., and Penicillium sp.
