Abstract

Saidah, Syafruddin, Pangestuti R. 2015. The yield capacity of rice variety of Inpari 24 at different SL-PTT locations in Central Sulawesi. Pros Sem Nas Masy Biodiv Indon 1: 1147-1150. Red rice is one of the functional foods with quite high selling rice, however, due to slight hard texture of cooked rice, it is decreasing its consumer's interest. In 2012 Rice Research Institute in Indonesia has released a red rice variety with the soft texture of cooked rice named Inpari 24. To accelerate the spreading of this rice variety, adaptability study on this rice variety at various different locations is very important. This research aimed to study the adaptability of Inpari 24 at six different SL-PTT (Field School of Integrated Crop Management) locations in Central Sulawesi, which are: (i) Kota Raya Barat, Mepanga sub-district, Parigi Moutong District, (ii) Wuasa, Lore Utara sub-district, Poso District, (iii) Busak 2, Karamat District, (iv) Lonu Bonubogu sub-district, Buol District, (v) Lambelu, Bumiraya sub-district and (vi) Lantula, Witaponda sub-district Morowali District, with an area of 0.25 ha respectively. The used method was descriptive of the mean production. The applied cultivation technology was followed by the Integrated Crop Management principle. Productivity at each location varied greatly, ranging from 5.30 to 7.73 tons of dry unhulled rice per ha. The highest productivity was found at Lambelu Village in Bumiraya sub-district, Morowali District while the lowest was obtained at Lantula Jaya Village in Witaponda sub-district, Morowali District.
