The purpose of this research was to study the presence of spider arthropods in Pasar Kamis Village, Banjar District, South Kalimantan. The research was conducted by weekly observation in rice field rainfed managed by the Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and non-IPM concepts. Observations made on catches using sweep nets of one week period, between June and October 2012. The species of spiders were Tetragnatha maxillosa, Oxyopes javanus, Oxyopes salticus, Pardosa pseudoannulata, Carrhotus sannio and Maripissa magister. The species of spiders in rice field rainfed of IPM were one species more than in non-IPM. The relative abundance of spiders caught was higher in rice field rainfed of IPM compared to the non-IPM, i.e. as much as 3288 individuals, and 1553 individuals respectively.
