Study of the potential use of non-timber vascular plants in Donorejo Village, Kaligesing District, Purworejo, Central Java, Indonesia. Pros Sem Nas Masy Biodiv Indon 9: 16-28. Java Island is a tropical island with a wide and varied natural landscape, one of which is the karst landscape. Karst is the result of the process of dissolving carbonate rock deposits, which then form caves with porous limestone rock. One of the karst systems in Java is in the Menoreh Hills, which are part of the Kulonprogo, Purworejo, and Magelang Regencies. Karst areas have unique potential and are rich in natural resources, both biological and non-biological. This research was conducted to determine the diversity of vascular non-timber plant types and their potential utilization in Donorejo Village, Kaligesing District, Purworejo Regency, Central Java, Indonesia. Data collection uses survey methods. The characteristics of the diversity of vascular plant vegetation in Donorejo Village were recorded, and samples were collected for further identification. The results obtained were then analyzed descriptively and qualitatively, and the potential use of plant species as supporting data was obtained from the literature. The results obtained consist of plant data for 122 species from 50 families. Vascular plants in the forest area of Donorejo Village mostly come from the Poaceae, Asteraceae, and Pteridaceae families. There are five types of habitus that grow there, including trees, herbs, shrubs, epiphytes, and vines, which are dominated by herbs. The use of vascular plants in the forests of Donorejo Village can be categorized as follows: (i) medicinal plants, (ii) ornamental plants, (iii) food ingredients, and (iv) animal feed.
