Abstract. Nurfadilah S, Angio MH, Turhadi. 2023. Conservation status of Dillenia spp. collection of Purwodadi Botanical Garden, Pasuruan, East Java, Indonesia. Pros Sem Nas Masy Biodiv Indon 9: 37-45. Purwodadi Botanical Garden is a Plant Conservation Center that has various plant collections, one of which is Dillenia spp. Dillenia spp. is a plant belonging to the Dilleniaceae clan originating from Asia with a total of about 60 species. The study aimed to determine the conservation status of Dillenia spp. Purwodadi Botanical Garden collection to date. Data collection was carried out using the observation method, tracing the data collection of Dillenia spp. from the registration unit, and a literature study on the conservation status of Dillenia spp. on the IUCN Red List. Based on the search results it is known that there are 88 collection numbers in the Purwodadi Botanical Garden and 10 of them are included in the IUCN Red List records. Six species consisting of D. serrata Thunb., D. reticulata King, D. ovalifolia Hoogland, D. indica, D. papuana Martelli, and D. auriculata Becc & Martelli have the status of least concern. Type D. philippinensis has a near threatened conservation status and type D. megalatha Merr. Has a vulnerable conservation status. In addition, there are two types of Dillenia which include D. celebica and D. ochreata Binn & Teijsm. (Miq.) has an endangered conservation status. In addition, Dillenia spp. it has been widely reported as a special cooking spice from several countries and as a traditional medicine. With the knowledge regarding the conservation status of Dillenia spp. conservation efforts can be made to maintain sustainability and sustainable use.
