Diversity of medicinal potentially plant on KHDTK Diklat forestry Faculty of Forestry, Mulawarman University, Samarinda, East Kalimantan. Pros Sem Nas Masy Biodiv Indon 9: 118-125. The forest area with a special purpose for forestry education and training of the Faculty of Forestry, University of Mulawarman, has various vegetation types, including shrubs, trees, herbs, and other plants that have potential as medicine. This study used primary data collection (direct observation) and secondary data or through literature with several references from books on medicinal plants or related journals. At the same time, the research plot determinations using a purposive sampling technique by making 2 lanes, each with a 250 m path length. The plots were made alternately measuring 25 m x 20 m in which there were sub-plots of 5 m x 5 m and 2 m x 2 m. Data analysis was carried out to observe plant distribution patterns using the Morisita Index, with the results in the first line of 0.003 and the second line of 0.006. Hence the plant distribution patterns in the two lines are clustered; both lines are 137 species from 1,263 individuals and 53 families. After being analyzed, the results of identifying all species in the research plot found 76 species of medicinal plants consisting of 6 habitus, with the most common habitus found being trees with a percentage of 68%.
