Hoyamulriflorahas potency as ornamental plant, but the culture technique not established yet. This research was aimed to observe the effect of paclobutrazol and sucrose on the growth and development of Hoyamultiflora.We use randomized complete design with two factors and four levels for each factors. The effect of the treatment was observed on the plant height, node lenght, the number of node, number of leaves, time of first flowering and number of flower per umbel. The effect of paclobutrazol was better on 50 ppm for the shorter node, flowerinitiationand flower number, while on 150 ppm inhibit plant height, number of node, number of leaves and stimulate the flower on 5 week after treatment, less number of flower and late flower initiation. The addition of sucrose did not give effect to the growth and flower innitiation. The treatment of sucrose on 5000 ppm able to initiate flower at 5 week after treatment, and the number of flower was increased by the treatment of10.000 ppm and 15.000 ppm of sucrose. There is no interaction effect between packobutrazol and sucrose, except on the 150 ppm of paclobutrazol and 5000 ppm of sucrose on the shorter node lenght.
