Abstract. Putri PH, Susanto GWA. 2019. Perform of soybean (Glycine max) F2 Generation lines in saline soil. Pros Sem Nas Masy Biodiv Indon 5: 101-106. Research on the response of soybean to salinity has been widely practiced in Indonesia. However, there is no varieties that is salinity-tolerant throughout the growth phase, have been found. Assembling of salt tolerant soybean varieties can be aimed through crosses, followed by selection on saline soil. The purpose of this research is to know the performance of F2 generation of soybean lines in saline soil and selection based on number of filled pod. The study was conducted in Desa Sidomukti, Kecamatan Brondong, Kabupaten Lamongan, on July-October 2017. The materials were 469 lines of soybean (F2 generation) and seven check (Karat 13, Grayak 5, MLGG 0160, Anjasmoro, Argomulyo, Dering, Wilis). The design used was augmented design. Check genotypes was repeated three times in each block and sowed between lines. Observations included soil DHL (before sowing, 15, 26, 37 and 53 DAS); plant population (15 and 37 DAS); flowering age. Observation of selected plants (number of filled pods ?15 pods), consist of plant height, number of branches, fertile node, filled pod, empty pod, and seed weight per plant. All of the lines were early maturity with plant height: 19,9 cm, number of branches: 1, number of fertile node: 5, number of filled pod: 13, number of empty pod: 3, and the seed weight is 2,2 g per plant. Based on number of filled pod ( ?15), there were 265 selected plants from F2 population of saline tolerant soybean candidate. The cross combination that produced selected lines are using MLGG 0160, Anjasmoro, Dering, Karat 13, and Argomulyo as parental.
